Visit mainland Spain - a diverse country
Mainland Spain consists of a number of regions that cover a wide range of climates, cultures and languages. The north of Spain is more rainy, windy and green, while the south is burning hot during a greater part of the year. Spanish territories outside the mainland consist of the Canary Islands as well as Ceuta and Melilla in Morocco.
In Cataluņa, the Barcelona region, the official language is Catalan beside Castilian, which is what we call Spanish. So if you're planning to make tourism in Spain mainland you should really try to learn as much as possible of the region that you are interested in.
