Schools in Spain and the Canary Islands

There are a number of British Schools in Spain which run the the British curriculum and examinations leading on to entry into Spanish or British universities.

The students will achieve the Spanish equivalent of the GCSE and A level qualifications leading on the university, plus the added bonus of being bi-lingual.

The Spanish education system operates a three term system, similar to the UK, but with slightly shorter holidays at Christmas and Easter.

Check with the school whether the children wear school uniform. Most Spanish state schools do not wear uniform, most private schools do.
